This morning (22nd November 2011) the demolition began in earnest of the 1970s old people’s home, Glynville Court in Glynville Close, Colehill. Preliminary works had been going on for several weeks and hoarding has been going up over the last few days but the monster machine, which had been parked, stationary, on the lawn until now, finally started to knock down walls today. The site of the 1970’s home is to be used to build 5 houses and 17 flats for the Synergy Housing Association.
