Accessibility statement for Colehill Parish Council’s Website
This statement covers our website at https://colehill.gov.uk/.
This website is run by Colehill Parish Council.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. In 2020 we substantially revised the website to realise this goal.
That means you should now be able to:
- Change colours, contrast levels and fonts (we provide basic tools for you to do this)
- Zoom in up to 250% without the text spilling off the screen
- Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
- Navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- Listen to most of the website using a screen reader. We have tested this with NVDA.
- We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:
- Older PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen reader software
- “News” articles older than August 2019
- Old Home Watch messages from years ago
