Colehill Parish Council have recently adopted the redundant and vandalised telephone box from BT. We asked our residents what they would like to see this used for and the most ‘asked-for’ suggestion was a book exchange. This could benefit residents at the Canford Bottom end of the Village who may not easily be able to get to the library as well as all residents outside of library opening hours.
We have now had the telephone box repainted and we are looking for a handy-person/carpenter to give us quotes for building the required shelving. If this is something that you are able to do then please get in touch with us either via the website Feedback Form or by calling or emailing the Clerk (contact details are on the home page).
We hope you agree it is looking fantastic and are excited as us about the telephone box’s new purpose!
