Update – April 2023

We are delighted to announce that Colehill Parish Council has now become the sole member, in effect the owner, of the Colehill and Wimborne Youth and Community Centre, also known as The Reef.

A proposal was made with the previous trustees of The Reef towards the end of 2022 to see if we would consider taking over running the building and the associated youth club, as the previous  trustees wanted to retire.  The Council agreed to this, with effect from 31st March 2023, and has appointed 4 of our Councillors to act as the charity trustees and as directors to manage The Reef going forwards.

The Reef is a modern building, with great facilities, and provides us with many exciting opportunities to improve the range of youth activities for Colehill, Wimborne and the surrounding area, as well as providing additional services and facilities for our wider community.  We anticipate this acquisition will be highly beneficial in the years to come.
