Clare was elected to the Council in May 2019 and is currently Chair both the Council and the Highways, Planning and Environment Committee.
She has recently retired as Principal of Kingston Mauward College in Dorchester – Dorset’s land‑based college. She has lived in Colehill for more than 30 years and is Dorset ‘born and bred’. Her great great grandfather was a shipwright in Bridport. She has one daughter who lives in Sydney Australia.
Clare cares about the UK’s farming industry and is passionate about encouraging young people to consider agriculture and horticulture as a career and to care for the environment.
She enjoys music, art, cycling and reading.
Clare lives and represents residents in the Colehill Parish Ward although is of course keen to hear from all and any residents in any part of Colehill.
