Cllr Nigel Bridle

Cllr Nigel Bridle

Nigel was elected to the council in May 2019.

Nigel has served as both Vice-chair and Chair of the Council.

Before moving to Colehill in 2004.  Nigel lived in Ringwood. He has 5 adult children, all of whom were educated locally, and young grandchildren.

Nigel has had a substantial career in horticulture, running his own business, managing a large landscaping company across the south coast, many years managing Poole Park and working for the former Borough of Poole (now BCP Council).  Following an accident in 2017, he returned to work full-time for BCP Council where he has responsibilities for outdoor spaces, including byways and highways.

He is currently a Colehill & Wimborne Youth & Community Centre Trustee/Director (aka The Reef) – this term runs until 2028.

Nigel is passionate about local involvement, improving the environment and enhancing people’s lives. He believes in acceptance, involvement,  responsibility and equality.

Nigel is interested in local history and archaeology.

Nigel lives and represents residents in the Colehill Parish Ward although is of course keen to hear from all and any residents in any part of Colehill.
