Cllr Richard Palmer

Cllr Richard Palmer

Richard has lived in Colehill for 18 years and was co-opted to the Council in December 2024.  He recently retired from his professional activities in system design in the electricity and gas industries after a long and varied career spanning operational research, management consultancy, merchant banking, mining industry finance, privatisation of UK industry and information technology.

He is keen to get involved in how the local Council can best serve local residents, in cooperation with neighbouring Councils and with Dorset Council.  His interests include music, yoga, boating, and his Austin 7, but all subject to involvement with the activities and aspirations of his children and grandchildren.

Richard is happy to hear from any residents in any part of Colehill.
