Cllr Mark Keniston

Cllr Mark Keniston

Co-opted onto the council in February 2021, Mark has worked professionally in the area since late 1993 and has run businesses spanning financial services, vehicle restoration and repairs as well as a car storage venture

He moved to his current home in Colehill in 2006 and both of his sons attended St. Michael’s and Queen Elizabeth schools.

He works 2 days a week for local charity Going For Bust (their HQ being in Wimborne) whilst continuing to be involved in business with an estate planning firm (wills & lasting powers of attorney). In addition, he is an accomplished drummer with a number of local bands as well as having a keen interest in the classic car fraternity plus, as he puts it, ‘the mighty’ AFC Bournemouth football club.

Mark is very keen to contribute to the ongoing progression & sustainable development of Colehill and its surrounding area and wants to help ensure that the parish residents are given every opportunity to shape, improve and invest in their community for many generations to come.

Mark lives and represents residents in the Colehill Hayes Ward although is of course keen to hear from all and any residents in any part of Colehill.
