[The Dorset Waste Partnership] had a meeting today [Thursday] and discussed the way to solve the current problems in the [#Colehill] and surrounding areas.
The outcome is that a special vehicle will be hired to take up any slack on the rounds that have been suffering during the last few weeks. Agency people are currently being employed to fill these vehicles to the required level of staffing.
[We are] assured that next week we will see an improvement in the service. A full investigation is being carried out to find out what went wrong, as other rounds are coping with the new delivery rounds. It may be the mix of rubbish collected but by the end of this year all this will be history.
In the meantime this extra vehicle will remain in place until [we] are happy with the service.
