Summary
Grant Aid award
On Tuesday night (May 22nd) the Council resolved to award Colehill Village Hall a grant of £12,000 to help a refurbishment project in the Committee Room.
The Committee Room which is situated down the side of the main building is looking tired and needs a refurbishment as well as a slight reconfiguration to better use the space.
The refurbishment includes replacing the kitchenette and carpets as well reducing the two toilet cubicles down to one and creating extra storage as well as redecorating throughout and installing a disabled ramp. A new disabled ramp hugely helps to attendance of the public to Council meetings in this room rather than needing a different space is we knew someone with reduced mobility wanted to attend a meeting.
The Committee Room is available to hire by smaller groups and/or clubs – enquiries can be made on colehillvillagehall.bookings@gmail.com
The Council is pleased to be in a position to provide a large grant to enable to Hall Committee to carry out this project will enhance the Hall greatly.
