Land off Colehill Lane

October 2026

We’ve been contacted by AJC Homes who are seeking to build 119 homes on land off Colehill Lane. On the plan below the site is edged red, with a new SANG (Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace) edged in green.

They have posted leaflets via Royal Mail to homes in the area this week and are inviting residents to engage with them via online consultation which is open until Sunday 8th November.

An overview of the proposed development are available here Colehill | AJC Group – Consulting the Community as well as downloadable ‘slides’ containing further information and visuals, this is also where you can make your comments directly to them.

After you’ve seen the details, please let us know what you think about the proposals too, so that we can reflect your views in our own feedback if/when a formal planning application is submitted.

This is one of the thirteen potential sites identified by Dorset Council for major housing development in Colehill, in the Draft Local Plan published in 2025.  See details of the Local Plan Consultation we conducted last year.
