Telephone Box adoption

February 2024

Summary

Public Consultation of adopted telephone box uses

Colehill Parish Council are currently entering into an agreement to adopt the red Telephone Box at Dales Drive for community use. These telephone boxes tend to be adopted by Town and Parish Councils for all different uses and a lot of them now house defibrillators. We have been seeking our residents views on what you would like the Dales Drive telephone box to be used for – we have already installed (and maintain) a defibrillator only a few metres away on the side of One Stop so we are lucky that we can choose from lots of other ideas. Let us know via our feedback form or by emailing the Clerk on clerk@colehill.gov.uk

More details on the history of the telephone box can be found here Red telephone box – Wikipedia along with some novel ideas for use!
