Public Consultation results
Thank you for everyone that contacted us with their view on what the community should use the adopted Telephone Box for in Dales Road. Some of the ideas were things that the Council hadn’t thought of and were quite ingenious!
The results from the consultation which has now closed were:
Books 35.71%
Flowers 28.57%
Plant Swap 21.43%
Noticeboard for events/services 7.14%
Toy exchange 7.14%
These and any ideas from Councillors was discussed at the Council meeting on 12th March and a decision was reached on using this as a book exchange as per the public consultations majority request. This will now be worked on (including repainting, glass refurbishment and shelving built) and will hopefully be ready by the summer.
