A huge thank you to the team of volunteers from Ultra Electronics based on Ferndown Industrial Estate who gave up their time yesterday to take part in a conservation day at Oliver’s Park.
Our thanks also to the Colehill Scouts and Guides who kindly allowed us to use their meeting hall for the day as a base.
Working alongside our own parish council volunteers, Clls Urquhart, Johnson & Gibson and our Parish Clerk, the volunteers helped us clear a large amount of brambles, nettles and undergrowth from behind the meeting hall, around the car park, at one of the entrances from Cutlers Place and around the children’s playground.
Since taking ownership of Oliver’s Park and Churchmoor Copse at the end of last year, we’ve embarked on a large program of improvements, see the Oliver’s Park page on our website for further details.
